Western Washington University WhiteBoard
Although small in size, the Western Washington University has let it's voice
be heard in academic circles. Established in 1863 and located in Bellingham
Washington, the Western Washington University is one of 6 state funded 4 year
schools in the state. They currently offer masters and Batchelors degrees in
a wide range of academic studies. The go under the school letters of WWU.
Situated on a 215 acre property that was originally a peat bog, the Western
Washington University has had problems in the past and currently is dealing
with slowly sinking buildings. They offer some athletic programs and their nickname
is the Vikings. Their school mascot is also the Viking.
