University of Central Florida WhiteBoard
The University of Central Florida, or UFC, is a college that is located in
Orlando Florida and is a part of the Florida State University System and holds
the position of being the largest undergraduate university, and the second largest
university in terms of enrollment in the state of Florida. It was established
in June 1963 with classes beginning 5 years later in 1968. UFC also has 12 satellite
campuses in the central Florida area but none of them are as large as the main
campus that is located in Orlando.
The University offers almost 200 different degree programs that cover a wide
range of studies. They offer bachelor, masters, specialist and doctorate degrees,
and with almost 47,000 students enrolled you could imagine that they really
cover a wide variety of studies. The official school colors are black and gold
and their sports teams go by the name of black knights.
