I have just finished my junior year of high school and would really like to go to Brown University, like most people. I am very smart, but the problem is that I am dyslexic, because of this my GPA is only a 3.1 and slowly rising. My sat score is 570 in reading and 520 in math but I am going to take it 3 more times. I also plan to take the ACT in a week.

I here of dyslexics getting into Brown all the time; but I can’t figure out how with the SAT being such a land mine for dyslexics. Am I doomed or what?

So what a dyslexic to do?
I would like to add that I do have extra time on the SAT and I am looking at some small libary arts colleges like Manhattanville

What does a University look at when you are applying and all ready have your associate’s degree? Is it the GPA, were you got the degree from, or something else? I appreciate any information that you could give me.
